Coffee is one of those things I simply cannot live without. ☕ Coffee=Life. I was pretty excited when I discovered that this week’s recipe for Baked Sunday Mornings group was Cinnamon Mocha. Ohhhhh yes! THAT’S what I’M talkin’ bout! Gimmie ALL the coffee. And friends……it’s not just coffee in there. I am also all about the cocoa. Coffee, cinnamon AND chocolate? What could be better?
This Cinnamon Mocha was a cinch to make and it makes you feel all cozy and warm inside and out. Easy to make? I’m def into that. I was really into that yesterday. I almost forgot to make this recipe because I was washing and detailing two cars, cleaning out the garage and putting out Christmas decorations. But there’s nothing like standing back and admiring after everything is done, especially when you pamper with yourself with a delicious Cinnamon Mocha afterwards!
To make this drink you will need to whisk together cocoa powder, sugar and cinnamon in a heat-proof bowl. Brew up some espresso and slowly added it to the dry mixture. Then you whisk, whisk, whisk until everything is combined perfectly. In a medium saucepan you will heat up your milk and then add the espresso mixture and whisk until combined. Stir the mixture constantly and bring to a boil.
This recipe makes two servings so you can share. I added some whipped cream and an extra dash of cinnamon for good measure. Enjoy!
