Easy Teriyaki Wings are so easy to make, you’ll wonder how they are so delicious! These wings are the perfect appetizer for your next get-together. They are juicy and flavorful inside and crispy on the outside.
I admit it. I am not a wing-eater per usual, but these are the exception. I am also not a watcher of football. However, I did make these Easy Teriyaki Wings as an appetizer for the Super Bowl that’s coming up next weekend. My husband LOVES sports. Football is one of his favorites. When football season arrives I am very much aware that I shouldn’t make plans on ANY Sunday because football is IT. Marriage is give and take though, right? I watch Pioneer Woman Episodes on the Food Network and bake and he watches sports. It just works!
Did I tell you these wings were easy to make? Get this…..use a large glass pyrex baking pan or one of those large throw-away turkey pans to make the wings. Rinse chicken wings under cold water. Before you prepare your wings, you can separate them into drums and flats by cutting them apart. I chose not to, but it’s whatever you prefer.
Place about 18-20 wings in a single layer in the pan. Pour a 10-ounce bottle of teriyaki sauce over the wings. Sprinkle a tablespoon of dried oregano over the wings. Cover with foil. Bake for one hour. DONE!
Are you having a Superbowl party or maybe going to one? You’ll want to make a pan of Easy Teriyaki Wings! Serve them to your guests. Or your husband. Or both!
Easy Teriyaki Wings
- 18-20 chicken wings
- 10 ounces Teriyaki sauce (I used Kikkoman.)
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Wash and separate wings and place in a large glass pyrex pan or a large throw-away turkey pan in a single layer.
Pour entire bottle of teriyaki sauce over wings. Sprinkle oregano over wings.
Cover wings tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour. I turned my wings over after 30 minutes and continued baking for another 30 minutes.
Remove foil and brown wings under broiler for 5 minutes or until crispy.
You can marinate the wings in the teriyaki sauce for a few hours or overnight if desired, but you do not have to.
